Continuous Effort

I woke up this morning not wanting to get up out of my soft comfy bed to go to school; as the day dragged on, I dragged with it. I didn’t really wake up until resource when I was overwhelmed by my friends congratulating me on winning the election, at that moment I started to think about how what we do today can greatly impact what we do and who we are tomorrow. We all have the potential and the ability to succeed; who we are may be predetermined, but at the end of the day what it all comes down to is where we are and how we got there, as Winston Churchill once said, " Continuous effort - not strength or intelligence - is the key to unlocking our potential."

  1. John- this is a very nice piece. It really makes you think about the decisions that you make and how they will affect you weather they are good or bad. Your voice is really apparent and I love the quote that you added in the end! Nice Work!
